A motivational session for the girls of Free Birds Open Shelter Home by Smt. Sherine Elizabeth, a retired teacher of St.Joseph’s Boys HSS. The 90 minutes session was quite interesting and the girls enjoyed it. The teacher had also brought Puffs for all the girls.
A motivational session for the girls of Govt. After Care Home, Vellimadukunnu by Smt. Sherine Elizabeth, a retired teacher of St.Joseph’s Boys HSS. She made sure that the 90 minutes session is interactive and the girls really got involved in it.
The inaugural session was handled by Sri. Hemapalan himself. It was a motivational session titled ‘Key to Success’. The interactive session lasted for one hour. A small token of gratitude for Sri. Hemapalan from Arm of Joy being was handed over by the ‘SAC Friends of 1994-95’.
After a tea break, Dr. Varsha Vidyadharan, Assistant Professor of the Psychiatry Department of Kozhikode Medical College handled an interesting topic for Girls, ‘Adolescent Love; Facts & Myths’.
Prabodh Kumar, a member of the ‘SAC Friends of 1994-95’, who is now working in Indian Air Force also spoke to girls.
A few members of the group called ‘SAC Friends of 1994-95’ who sponsored the ‘Joy of Confidence’ project were also present on the occasion as volunteers.
A project to organize regular classes for Personality Development for the kids in various orphanages on topics such as Career Guidance, Leadership Training, Social Awareness, Health & Hygiene Tips, Public Speaking, Language Skills and anything under the sun that would help in the character formation of the kids. ‘Joy of Confidence’ project is sponsored by ‘SAC Friends’, a group of friends who participated in a Social Awareness Course of the academic year1994-95.
On Oct 23rd, Vijayadashami Day, Sri. Hemapalan, a motivational expert inaugurated the project at Govt. After Care Home, Vellimadukunnu. Anoop G in the welcome address introduced the concept of ‘Joy of Confidence’.
