A project to ensure annual subscription to Children’s publications for all the orphanages in Kozhikode.
Sponsored by ‘NSS School Koot’ (Students of 4th standard batch of 1989-90 at NSS School, Chalappuram).
A total of 9 Children’s publications, namely Balarama, Balabhumi, Balarama Chithrakatha, Balarama Digest, Kalikudukka, Minnaminni, Mathrubhumi Chithrakatha, Magic Pot & Tell me Why were subscribed for a year for 12 orphanages in the Kozhikode district. The publications will reach the orphanages by post as per its frequency.

10. MES Orphanage
11. C.H. Mohammed Koya Memorial Orphanage
12. St. Vincent Home
The teachers of the 4th standard batch of 1989-90 at NSS School, Chalappuram launched the project in a reunion function arranged at the school on 2nd August 2015.
Smt. Janaki, the caretaker of the students of the 4th standard batch of 1989-90, handed over the first copy of the magazines to the kids of Free Birds.
Smt. Sundari, the caretaker of the students of the 4th standard batch of 1989-90, handed over the first copy of the magazines to the representatives of Ekalavya Vidhyarthi Nikethan.
Sri. N. Prasanth IAS, District Collector of Kozhikode, handed over the first copy of Magazines to Smt. Sumathi Amma of Nanma Charitable Trust.
Rekha Sharma of the 4th standard batch of 1989-90, handed over the first copy of Magazines to Sri. Muraleedharan, the Superintendent of Govt. Boys Home.
