X’mas at its best

An event for the inmates of Poor Home, DD Home & Free Birds.

A special Christmas Carol was organised connecting an Orphanage and two old age homes. The kids of Free Birds, a rehabilitation centre for Street Children were taken to Poor Home (an old age home) and DD Home (a rehabilitation centre for leprosy patients abandoned by relatives) for Christmas celebration. After the carol, the kids had a grand dinner at Topform restaurant, Mavoor Road. The entire event was supported by Sanjana from Singapore, Rinnet Sebastian from Vellore & Prathibha Gilbert from Kochi.

The kids of Free Birds were so much excited to form a Carol & visit old age homes. The gifts for the inmates of old age homes - Bath Soap, Talcum powder & Coconut oil were packed by the kids themselves.

A vehicle was arranged for the kids to visit old age homes & finally to go to restaurant. The kids first visited the inmates of Poor Home, West Hill. The costumes of Santa Claus was taken for rent and one of the kid wore the costumes.

Santa claus & team had a chat with the inmates of Poor Home. Santa Claus also handed over gifts to the inmates of Poor Home. A band set was also arranged and the kids danced to the rhythm of it.

The kids visited DD home after that and later in the night, X’mas special Dinner was arranged at Topform Restaurant, Mavoor Road.

An extremely joyful day for the kids & everyone else who were a part of the event.
