An event for the inmates of DD Home

One interesting thing at the DD Home, Chevayur is that even though the inmates are abandoned by their relatives, they still have strong belief in God. Inside their compound, there is a small Temple and a Mosque very close to each other, where they offer prayers daily and live in harmony. Somebody had sponsored the amount to paint the mosque few months ago, but the temple was looking so dull. Whenever we went there, the inmates were requesting us to paint the temple also, and we made it happen for them.

It was Aneesh G from Doha, who offered to meet the expenditure, when he came home for vacation. The painting work was completed in two days time. On the second day of painting, Aneesh took the kids of all his cousins to the DD Home, so that the inmates have a good time seeing them & chatting with them. The kids also cut cake and was served for all the inmates.
