Renovated Bathrooms

An activity for the inmates of DD Home

Four Bathrooms for ladies in the DD Home, Chevayur were in a pretty bad shape and it has been their dream for a long time to take bath in a safe & clean bathroom. With the sponsorship amount from a NRI in Doha, Qatar, the bathrooms were renovated with fresh doors & ceiling. Fiber doors were fixed and ceiling was redone with GI sheets. After 3 days of renovation work, the bathrooms were inaugurated by the ladies themselves on Saturday evening.

The pathetic state of bathrooms was pointed to us by the inmates many times and it was decided to ensure a new look for bathrooms. Fixing of doors happened first and then the old roofing tiles got removed. New roof was done with GI sheets. The inner & outer walls of the bathrooms were painted to give it a fresh look. After 3 days of renovation work, the inmates themselves inaugurated the bathrooms.
