An event for the kids of Leukemia ward of Kozhikode Medical College

In that phase of life when they are supposed to play around with friends, these unfortunate kids of Leukemia ward in Kozhikode Medical College are stuck between the walls due to fear of infection. So we thought to take the world to their ears. Athul Venugopal who is working in England, sponsored pocket radios & headphones for 25 kids of Leukemia ward of Kozhikode Medical College.

During those periods after each chemo, kids can fight solitude with this ‘theatre of mind’. Brand new pocket radio from Philips & a convenient headset along with were arranged for all the kids. They queued up in the Verandah of their ward & were quite eager to collect their pieces.
