An event for the kids of Leukemia ward

An outing for the kids of Leukemia ward & their mothers for a movie at RP Mall & an afternoon at Godeeshwaram Beach Resort. Sponsored by actor Kunjacko Boban & Srikanth Nair from Dubai. Film City of RP Mall offered an exclusive show of the movie Jamnapyari for the kids & their mothers.

In the morning, kits with soap, oil & powder were distributed for the kids admitted at Leukemia ward. A bus was arranged to take the kids for a day out. They reached Film City, RP Mall by around 10am and got in for the movie Jamnapyari. The family entertainer had a wonderful message for remaining positive in life.

Then a small function was organized at Film city to celebrate the 25th day celebration of the movie ‘Jamnapyari’. The fans association of Kunchacko Boban also actively participated in the event

The actor came to the mall after the movie to have an interaction with the kids. The management of Film City offered great support by arranging the venue for the same. Special Thanks to C4CCCI (Caring for Childhood Cancer & Chronic Illness), the NGO under Institute of Palliative Medicine & the Department of Pediatrics of Kozhikode Medical College, for co-ordinating with the kids & their parents.

The actor found time amidst a tight schedule to spend some time with the kids. The kids & others were obviously too much excited when the actor made a surprise visit to join them. Special thanks to our volunteer Binaj for informing the actor about the activities of Arm of Joy and getting him associated with the event. And thanks to Smt. Rajani for all the support at Film City.

The actor cut the Jamnapyari movie cake to celebrate the 25th day of the movie. He interacted with the kids and also handed over Sarees as gift to the mothers of kids of Leukemia ward. Then the bus headed to Godeeswaram resort, Beypore with the kids. Special Lunch followed with Ice-cream were arranged for the kids & their mothers. Kids had a wonderful time at the park. Then an Entertainment session was organized and Smt. Lissy, a volunteer of C4CCCI co-ordinated that session.

The kids them went to the beach and had a wonderful time playing with waves. The activity got winded up by around 5pm.
