An event for the girls of a Shelter Home

A wonderful evening for the girls of a shelter home. They were offered the freedom to purchase fancy jewellery and cosmetics items from a shop for Rs.600 per head. And after the shopping, the girls were taken for the movie ‘Premam’. The event was organized to celebrate the birthday of Etasha.

Etasha’s parents who are settled in Qatar, wanted to make their daughter’s birthday meaningful this time and the event for the girls of a Shelter Home made it really special.

We had arranged a tempo traveler for taking the girls from their shelter home to the fancy shop at Nadakkavu. The girls reached the shop by around 4pm. The cake cutting was done at the Fancy shop. AoJ Volunteer Noufira distributed cake for all girls. Purchase of fancy jewellery and cosmetics items & jewellery was over in about one hour.

Sri. Asif, the owner of ‘Fiza Fancy’ offered big discounts for the items. He also showed great heart by giving away complimentary bags to all care takers of the shelter home.

After the shopping, the girls were taken to the Regal Theatre at East Hill for the movie ‘Premam’. The event ended by around 9pm.
