An event for the inmates of DD Home

The 50th event of Arm of Joy happened on the most auspicious day, Thiruvonam. The Onakodi which got stitched from the tailoring units of Nanma Home & Govt. After Care Home were handed over to the inmates of DD Home. The stitching charge was met by Smithesh. Special Biriyani & Ice cream were also offered for the inmates to celebrate the Wedding Anniversary of Reshma-Sujith.

All the shirts for the inmates of DD Home were stitched from the tailoring unit of Nanma Charitable Trust at Parambil Bazar. The kids of Nanma Home with the help of a tailor in charge, use to stitch uniform & other dress materials for the people in their locality.

All the blouses for the inmates of DD Home were stitched from the tailoring unit of Govt. After Care Home at Vellimadukunnu. The girls with the help of a tailor in charge stitch churidars & other dress materials and also do embroidery works.

The stitched materials were handed over to the inmates just before the Thiruvonam day. They all wore the new clothes on Thiruvonam day and posed for a group photograph.

Special Biriyani with ice cream was also arranged for the inmates. Biriyani was sponsored by Reshma-Sujith couple who celebrate their wedding anniversary on Aug 31st.
