An event for the inmates of Homme Trust Special School

Painting the walls of Homme Trust special school at Nilambur (Malappuram) with cartoon characters and scenic images. An event sponsored by Jisha & Jayaprakash settled in USA to share their Joy on the occasion of their House Warming on Sunday, Aug 2nd. On that day, the walls of this special school got painted with beautiful images and a treat was planned for the kids on Aug 4th. Biriyani with Ice cream was served for them to celebrate the occasion.

Jisha & Jayaprakash wanted to do something meaningful on the day of their house warming and approached Arm of Joy. An artist was arranged who went to school, talked with the authorities and collected the details of images required on the walls. Thanking Anand, a AoJ volunteer from Nilambur for arranging the artist.

The kids were extremely excited to see the fun filled walls of their school, when we went there on August 4th. The pillars of the school were also made lively with alphabets & images. We had also arranged Biriyani from Kozhikode and carried the packets to Nilambur on the day of the event.

Dr. Manoj of Homme Trust Special School was also present on the occasion and we had a lunch with him at the school. The event ended with Cake cutting at Homme. A group photo was also taken.
