An event for the inmates of Poor Home.

The grand mothers & grand fathers of Poor Home, Westhill haven’t gone out of their compound for a long time, other than for going to hospital. Itz been decades since many of them watched a movie in a theatre and hence we took them for the wonderfully crafted movie ‘Maheshinte Prathikaram’ at Crown theatre. They were quite excited to see the ambience inside the new generation theatre and enjoyed each & every moment of it. They also had a delicious lunch in the luxury restaurant at YMCA cross road, named Marina Residency. The event was organized to celebrate the birthday of Madhavan and also with the support of Rinnet Sebastian from Vellore.

A mini bus had been arranged to take the inmates from Poor home to restaurant & theatre.

A delicious lunch was arranged at the restaurant of Marina Residency. The 8th birthday cake of Madhavan was cut there after the lunch.

Then they were taken to Crown theatre. They had a look at the old projector exhibited in the front of theatre. And then they got inside the theatre. They were quite excited to experience the ambience inside the theatre. Special thanks to Sri. Vinod of Crown theatre for all the arrangements there.

Arm of Joy volunteer, Divya gifted bath towels for all the inmates after the movie and they returned to their home by evening. It was such a joyful day for all of them.
