An event for the inmates of DD Home

An activity for the inmates of DD Home who rarely go out of their compound, subscription to newspapers & magazines was arranged for one year. Inmates can get in touch with the world by reading Malayala Manorama Daily, Mathrubhumi Daily, Malayala Manorama Weekly, Mathrubhumi Arogyamasika & Manorama Arogyam. Sponsored by Salini & Premjith who are in Doha, on the day of Premjith’s birthday.

Copies of the 2 newspapers and 3 magazines will be made available for the inmates for one year. It is an effort to bring in some change to the monotonous routine of the inmates here. Hope it will result in a change in their outlook too.

The first copy of all the above mentioned newspapers & magazines were handed over to Sri.Murali, the Caretaker of DD Home and also to the inmates here. Malayala Manorama also offered a stand to keep newspapers & magazines, as a support to this initiative of Arm of Joy.
