An event for a boy of Free Birds Open Shelter Home.

A Plastic Surgery was arranged for a boy in Free Birds Open Shelter Home who can’t speak properly. The surgery done at Kozhikode Medical College on 13th April was successful and the boy got discharged after a few days. All the expenditure for making this big dream come true was met by Dr. Ashifa from Dubai, who offered an amount to share the joy on the occasion of her wedding anniversary on 13th March.

The boy in Free Birds Open Shelter Home who is very smart & well behaved, was not able to speak properly because of some disorder of Epiglottis. We have been thinking to do something about it, which can change his life by instilling lots of confidence. We had taken the boy to Dr.Rajendran of Modern ENT hospital & he referred the case to Dr.Sheeja of Kozhikode Medical College.

After a detailed examination, Dr.Sheeja told us that he will be able to talk much better if a plastic surgery can be done. She had also promised that all possible things will be done from their side to reduce the cost as much as they can for the surgery and also for the procedure & medication post surgery.

He will soon be undergoing Speech Therapy so as to ensure that he speaks much better than earlier.
