An event for the girls of Free Birds Open Shelter Home.

On this New Year day, Smt. Liju Sumesh, the owner of Paragon group (the prominent restaurant group of Kozhikode) inaugurated the work area that we have renovated for the girls of Free Birds Open Shelter Home with a budget of Rs.35,000/-.

This area adjacent to the kitchen has now become more spacious, safe, secure & tidy. We have set up a furnace & sink too in this area. The entire space has been covered with mesh & doors were fixed. The roofing is done with Trafford sheets & flooring with black oxide. We have also done a ‘virakupura’ near this work area so that it is easy for them to store & use firewood for cooking.

The material & labour cost for mason work & industrial work and the cost of tap, tubelights, other electrical materials and paint were met with the amount shared by Sreeraj from Mumbai.

The labour charges for painting & other miscellaneous expenditure were met for the joy of Amitha from Doha
